Here's DinnerPosted by Lee (Fort Frances Ontario, Canada) on 25 February 2009 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio. I was taking shots of wild lily's in the field. This little sparrow stopped to say hello on it's way back to the nest. Thank you for visiting my site. I consider myself to be lucky living where I do. Everyday I wake up to a wealth of interesting visual scenarios. Most of my pictures are Wildlife and Nature taken from around the area. The area specifically being Fort Frances Ontario on beautiful Rainy Lake. Feel free to comment on what you see. I look forward to hearing from you. If you like what you see, please rate it. Better yet, bookmark the site and drop back often. I will be posting daily.

I like the detail and the natural looking color. Well done. 25 Feb 2009 3:32pm Ben from Harz, Germanythats a great shot... the color of the worm looks funny... so green... 25 Feb 2009 4:09pm Brett from McAllen, United StatesGreat Shot Lee! It reminds me of Emily Dickinson's poem that starts, "A bird came down the walk, he didn't know I saw..." and end with "ate the fellow raw." My picture today was inspired by Poe's, "The Raven." So, it is funny we both had birds today. 25 Feb 2009 7:26pm Richard_Irwin from Belper, United KingdomGreat close-up of the sparrow and its dinner, lovely light in the shot. 25 Feb 2009 11:18pm @Richard_Irwin: Thank you for visiting, please drop by again.
