Loafin' & Loungin'Posted by Lee (Fort Frances Ontario, Canada) on 27 February 2009 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio. This is a sibling cub to the earlier shot. I was graced with their presence last fall. I shot to many shots to show them all. This pose is another of my favourites. Thank you for visiting my site. I consider myself to be lucky living where I do. Everyday I wake up to a wealth of interesting visual scenarios. Most of my pictures are Wildlife and Nature taken from around the area. The area specifically being Fort Frances Ontario on beautiful Rainy Lake. Feel free to comment on what you see. I look forward to hearing from you. If you like what you see, please rate it. Better yet, bookmark the site and drop back often. I will be posting daily.

I still think you should work for NG! I can't help but worry as to where Mama Bear was..... 27 Feb 2009 11:04am @Denise: Denise, while I watched and photgraphed these cubs, mama was right there with them. She usually was just lying there watching carefully. When she would get up to go , the cubs instantly stopped what they were doing and would follow. Marion from Liberty Township, United StatesYou are so lucky!!! I probably would have filledup all my memory cards with shots of these two. We're not lucky(?) enough to have them wild over here but they were always my favourite subject at London Zoo as a kid. 7 Mar 2009 7:46pm @Vinman: I'll tell you, we have plenty of wild bears here. Sometimes they are to playful. They get too close to urban areas, and cause damage. |
