Full Moon on the RisingPosted by Lee (Fort Frances Ontario, Canada) on 28 February 2009 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. This land formation is known as the "Sleeping Giant." The shot was taken along the city of Thunder Bay's waterfront two years ago at sunset. I have not altered any colours. The Lunar eclipse happened on this night. I took several shots of the moon as it rose. It progessively became full. I then placed ten of these shots in this photo. Thank you for visiting my site. I consider myself to be lucky living where I do. Everyday I wake up to a wealth of interesting visual scenarios. Most of my pictures are Wildlife and Nature taken from around the area. The area specifically being Fort Frances Ontario on beautiful Rainy Lake. Feel free to comment on what you see. I look forward to hearing from you. If you like what you see, please rate it. The color of the sky and the way that it reflects on the snow is magnificent. 28 Feb 2009 1:58pm vu@granby - Wolfgang from Granby, Québec, CanadaGreat job with the sleeping giant as an anchor for the arc of the moon.
