Dining Alfesco

I saw this squirrel just sitting and eating these seeds. It looked like they tasted pretty good. He just kept grabbing handfuls and stuffing them in his mouth. His cheeks kept getting bigger and bigger.

I know a lot of people hate squirrels because they are always trying to eat from bird feeders but I, honestly, adore them. Watching their antics is endlessly entertaining. This is one of the best images of one of these rascals I think I've ever seen. Simply marvelous!

Absolutely adorable!!! This is just such a superb shot!!! I love Squirrels too but we don't have them in NZ and in the UK people hate the gray ones cos they strip the bark off trees...I can understand that...but they are still so cute! I'm looking forward to seeing them again!!

Oh Lee ! He is just so cute, highly concentrated on what he is eating... I like the snow in his fur and this great blue sky in the background. Lovely shot indeed.

This snow-flecked squirrel makes a great looking subject. I feed the squirrels and its interesting to see them eat some seeds/nuts and others are carried to a prime spot and buried. I always wonder if they remember where they are to retrieve on a hungry day. This is a very successful shot.

I believe Lee this is a cousin to the one that continually eats or stores the peanuts from the squirrel feeder in our back yard. They sure are busy creatures but allot of fun to watch and photo. Great colours and a great shot, well done.
