Shades of White

Posted by Lee (Fort Frances Ontario, Canada) on 28 March 2009 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio.

Well it's almost the end of March. Spring is just around the corner. We still have cool nights and the frost still settles on it's surroundings.
No story for this shot. Just a shot taken about 4 blocks from the house. The trees were in the shadows. The sun can be seen shining on the background. A cloud bank blocked most of the sun.

Thank you for visiting my site. I consider myself to be lucky living where I do. Everyday I wake up to a wealth of interesting visual scenarios. Most of my pictures are Wildlife and Nature taken from around the area. The area specifically being Fort Frances Ontario on beautiful Rainy Lake. Feel free to comment on what you see. I look forward to hearing from you. If you like what you see, please rate it. Better yet, bookmark the site and drop back often. I will be posting daily.

don from Spokane, United States

You've done a fine job of capturing these gorgeous trees. A very appealing shot. Frost can transform common things and make them very beautiful. We still have piles of dirty snow here and there and it's freezing most nights, but plants are starting to come up. I hope they don't get nipped with frost.

28 Mar 2009 3:00pm

@don: Thank you Don. It'll be a while before our plants start emerging.
