Southeastern Sky at Sunset

How often do we see, or look at a sunset and marvel at it's splendor. We are always amazed at the colour created by the moisture and light. On this particular night the sunset was just magnificent. It was truly awe-inspiring.
After taking many shots of the water, silhouetted shoreline, colour and the sun and sunset I decided to turn and look the other way. This is something I do occassionally. This is the colour in the sky behind me. This is what the sun light was creating. The magenta colours in the sky and clouds were just unbelievable. The moon was full and perfectly positioned. I could not resist.

Thank you for visiting my site. I consider myself to be lucky living where I do. Everyday I wake up to a wealth of interesting visual scenarios.
