Just Another April Sunrise.Posted by Lee (Fort Frances Ontario, Canada) on 16 April 2009 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. I can't help it. Sunrises appeal to me. On mornings when we get to see the sun, colour is sure to appear. It is just a question of will it be yellow, or, will it have other hues and shades about it. Thank you for visiting my site. I consider myself to be lucky living where I do. Everyday I wake up to a wealth of interesting visual scenarios. Most of my pictures are Wildlife and Nature taken from around the area. The area specifically being Fort Frances Ontario on beautiful Rainy Lake. Feel free to comment on what you see. I look forward to hearing from you. If you like what you see, please rate it. Better yet, bookmark the site and drop back often. I will be posting daily.

@Didier DE ZAN: Thank you Didier. Lydie et Roland from BESANCON, FranceQuelle jolies couleurs... Les oranges sont d'une densité - super ! 16 Apr 2009 5:29am @Lydie et Roland: Thank you very much mats from Texas, United StatesSunrise! This phenomenal start of the day is very elusive for me. It's either the sun is all way up when I venture out or the sunrise is blocked by buildings. Beautiful warm colors to start your day. Postcardlike beautiful. 16 Apr 2009 5:46am @mats: Thanks Mats. To catch sunrises now I need to get up about 5:00 AM. I need to be ready by 6:00 AM. jamesy from christchurch, New Zealandso beautiful the sunrise in CHCH this morning was a stunning array of pinks reds and oranges in strips of cloud but alas I was at work with no camera. Veronique from Sarrouilles, FranceSo nice description ! Seeing the sun rising or desapearing always gives me the sens of my world (euh....not very easy to describe my feelings in English, sorry if it is confuse) 16 Apr 2009 10:46am @Veronique: Thanks Veronique. Do you take your tripod? Stunning image! 16 Apr 2009 12:03pm @Marion: I need to be out there set up by 5:30 - 5:45 AM right now. Thanfully I'm an early riser. The first cuople hours of day light is also a perfect time to spot wildlife. It works well for me. Sometimes I use a tripod, most times I improvise. Tracy from La Selva Beach, United StatesIf this is "just another" sunrise, I am envious! I am a sucker for sunrise too, I am one of those "weird" "morning" people...I love the feeling of watching the sun come up & knowing that I have the whole day ahead of me...So often here in the summer we have dense fog- no sunrise or sunset- just gray all day.... 16 Apr 2009 1:32pm @Tracy: Thanks Tracy. If there is no cloud cover, we have a lot of orange mornings. After a while, seen one sen em all. It is now how can I photograph it differently. @Simply Col: Thank you Viewfinder from Bradenton, FL, United StatesYour narrative adds even more "color" to this beautiful sunrise. Thanks for the thoughts and the image. 16 Apr 2009 2:47pm @Viewfinder: Thank you for taking the time to read it. You are most welcome. I enjoy the quietness of watching it happen. Usually I am the only one around, except for the odd seagull. Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaManificent, the world is so beautiful, thanks Lee :) 16 Apr 2009 3:53pm @Lorraine: It truly is a beautiful world Lorraine. And it gets more wonderful each day. Not easy to do. Well done. 16 Apr 2009 4:23pm @MontereyJohn: Timing is of the essence John. Any later and blowout would've happened. Thank you ever so much for the compliment. Ajay from Pune, IndiaBeautiful composition and framing. Sunset shots are my favorite shots too. 16 Apr 2009 4:36pm @Ajay: Thanks Ajay. How could anyone not enjoy scenes like this, is beyond me. Tony Duque from Raleigh, United StatesWonderful shot, Lee! In concert with your narrative, this is an image that has touched a lot of folks... and, as a card-carrying sunrise addict, I'm certainly one of them. Excellent composition and execution... incredible gradation of colors... love the glassy near-shore water. That's about as perfect and uncomplicated a sunrise as I've seen in quite a while. Thanks so much for sharing your terrific picture and thoughts with us!! 16 Apr 2009 7:48pm @Tony Duque: Tony, what can I say. An extreme large THANK YOU to you. This means a lot to me coming from the king of Sunrises. My whole purpose on this site was to let people know what I see every day. Sunrises as rich and intense as this are not always common. However the orange is a common colour around here. Again, I am very pleased to know that people other than myself enjoy such natural wonders and beauty. You and every one else that has viewed this hot are most welcome. And THANK YOU all for the praises and compliments. Please visit again. @Sun.~: Thank you for the compliment and the visit, please visit again. ts from Tokyo, Japanjust another majestic sunrise, hey? haha. i love that nonchalance! beautiful image 16 Apr 2009 11:57pm @ts: I am not trying to say every sunrise looks the same. I was only trying to say I am posting another sunrise, and not a wildlife shot. Thank you for the visit and comment. Please drop by again. DarkElf from Perth, Australiabeautiful sunrise! nicely composed - i like how the sunrise opens up to me from left to right coming from behind the trees... the colours are superbly rich and well saturated - a lovely sight! 17 Apr 2009 3:17am @DarkElf: Thank you very much.
