You Know It's Spring When......

Posted by Lee (Fort Frances Ontario, Canada) on 19 April 2009 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio.

You you it's spring when the pussy willows are tame and mellow. ( Oh that's Silly Tuesday talk).
When the trees start to bloom and blossom.
When the buds start appearing.
When the birds start singing.
When the days get warmer.
When the days get longer.

Well I think you get the point.
This time of year everything starts to come to life. New colour is starting to appear on the ends of branches. Yesterday I actually saw a couple butterflies. They were to busy fluttering about, trying to keep warm. I could not get a decent shot of them. Oh well there's always tomorrow.

Thank you for visiting my site. I consider myself to be lucky living where I do. Everyday I wake up to a wealth of interesting visual scenarios. Most of my pictures are Wildlife and Nature taken from around the area. The area specifically being Fort Frances Ontario on beautiful Rainy Lake. Feel free to comment on what you see. I look forward to hearing from you. If you like what you see, please rate it. Better yet, bookmark the site and drop back often. I will be posting daily.
