P J W Miller from Chase Terrace, United KingdomMy Little Chickadee (1940) is a Universal comedy/western motion picture starring Mae West and W. C. Fields, with Joseph Calleia. Thanks Brett, I'll check that out. Great Silly Tuesday shot today. shallowregret from Kongsberg, Norwayno trusting unless you can produce a shot of them flying upside down 5 May 2009 9:05pm @shallowregret: That's a challenge. I make no promises, We'll see what time holds. Oh ye of little faith. Vinman from Essex, United KingdomBet they have to wear sunglasses if they're looking upward all the time. Maybe next week you'll have a shot of one wearing Aviators (ouch!). 5 May 2009 9:10pm @Vinman: Did you not notice? He has UV protective shaded grey toner contact lenses in place just for that reason. The sun is bright and harmful. Thyank you for your comments. Kathe from Marquette, Michigan, United StatesThey're not called black-capped chickadees for nothin'. Because they fly upside-down, they tend to bang their little heads into things so often that they are permanently bruised. Right, Lee? 5 May 2009 11:06pm @Kathe: That is probably how they got their name. You could be right. @Viewfinder: Thank you. That they are for sure. vu@granby Gilles Martineau from Granby, Québec, CanadaI believe you that they fly on their backs but i will be happy to see a photo of this! 6 May 2009 12:49am @vu@granby Gilles Martineau: Well Gilles, you join a number of disbelievers above.
