You Lookin at Me

The Bobolink. A rather funny looking bird. The male is black white and a pale yellow. It is fun to watch and listen to these males calling over their territories.
Unfortunately they nest on the ground in hay fields. Their nests and or young are disrupted. A lot of birds are killed each year during haying season.
Thank you for visiting my site. I consider myself to be lucky living where I do. Everyday I wake up to a wealth of interesting visual scenarios. Most of my pictures are Wildlife and Nature taken from around the area. The area specifically being Fort Frances Ontario on beautiful Rainy Lake. Feel free to comment on what you see. @Lydie et Roland: Thank you. You know, the lens really makes a difference. A strong telephoto blurs out hte background nicely.

@Hidalgo: The background is a field of hay that has not yet been cut. These birds perch on shrubs or posts to keep an eye out for danger.
