Fox Kit

I spotted this fox as I was driving along the highway. There is a den under that dead tree. There were two other kits also. I really wished I would have had more time to wait for the other kits to come back out. They looked like they were having fun playing when I first drove by.
Thank you for visiting my site. I consider myself to be lucky living where I do. Everyday I wake up to a wealth of interesting visual scenarios. Most of my pictures are Wildlife and Nature taken from around the area. The area specifically being Fort Frances Ontario on beautiful Rainy Lake. Feel free to comment on what you see. I saw your niece yesterday. Thank you so much. that was so unexpected, it truly made my day, (added all the sunshine I didn't see outside). I might have to share it with my parents in NB. It's true that a picture is worth a thousand words. I wouldn't be able to describe the area as nicely as your photos do.

What a great capture, Lee. Love his face! Any chance you might post it without the frame just to compare? It looks like the wood in the shot makes a natural frame but the one you added picks up the warm brown tones, as well.

Just yesterday morning my wife saw one on the lot across our street, being chased by crows.... You caught it really well, and here I love the frame as well, as you gave more space to the fox...

awesome catch - I have to say - I felt a bit like you recently when visiting North Carolina. We were staying in a gated community with lots of undeveloped acreage. We saw a momma black bear and cubs walking gingerly along the road as well as some coyotes and other fun creatures... must be nice to walk out of your house and into nature each day !
