Oh What a Beautiful Day

Posted by
Lee (Fort Frances Ontario, Canada) on 3 June 2009 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio.

This one's is for Jamesy. Some birds are still sitting on their nest. Some birds have hatched. Some birds are building their nests. It's an amazing life. All kinds of activity, all around. Some days it's tough to decide what to take shots of. This is an early bunch of Mallard ducklings. The little ones looked like they were having fun. It seems all waterfowl enjoy splashing. You'd never know it was the center duckling that caused this splash.

Thank you for visiting my site. I consider myself to be lucky living where I do. Everyday I wake up to a wealth of interesting visual scenarios. Most of my pictures are Wildlife and Nature taken from around the area. The area specifically being Fort Frances Ontario on beautiful Rainy Lake. Feel free to comment on what you see. I look forward to hearing from you. If you like what you see, please rate it. Better yet, bookmark the site and drop back often. I will be posting daily.

I haven't told you THE RULE! When you see ducklings, you have to sing this little tune:
"Lit-tle baby duck-EEEEZ...go quackquackquack."
And you HAVE to sing it. It's THE RULE. ;^)

@Kathe: Obviously you haven't heard me sing. If you had you wouldn't tell me the rule. LOL.

But the baby duckies don't know you can't sing. That's what makes it so special. (I can't sing either...and I made up the tune! *LOL*)
