Everywhere there seems to be eagles right now. SHortly there will be even more for a while. Not quite sure what the bird on top was upset about. But every time the other eagle landed, it would try to land directly on top of the landed bird. And no, it is not mating season LOL.

@Christel: Thank you Christel.
@philippe: Thank you
@zOOm: Thank you Florence. There is an abundance of wildlife here to be photographed. It is just waiting for people with cameras. Patience is definately a number one quality needed by wildlife photographers. Take care.
@Marlowe: Thank you for the compliment and the visit. Please drop by again.
@grouser: Thank you sir. Tag it is then.
@Mirko Herzner: Thank you very much. By the way what's new? Where have you been?
@M.M.Lotaief: Thank you. In this case I'd say I was about 100 yards away.
@Lorraine: Merci Beau coup. Sometimes my models co-operate with me and sometimes they don't. Even the sun was co-operative here.
@amirreza: Thank you
@Denise: Thanks Denise. I am not sure, I have watched them fly in unison this time of year. I am not sure if this is a mated pair or not.
@k@: Thank you Karine.
@Michael: Thanks Michael. I hope you get some fantastic shots of them when they arrive. They are truly a magestic bird.
@Baby Sis: Thanks Shelley. You know I will continue to post pics even if it gets cold and wet. Brrrr. I hope not for a while though.
@Barbara Kile: Thank you
@dan: Thank you
@MARIANA: Thank you Mariana.
@john4jack: Thank you Jack.
@Nathan: Thank you Nathan. I will try to put some more info into the narrative from now on.
@Susan: LOL. Well Susan, a lot of it has to do with the fact I am always out and about in the wild. This time of year the eagles start gathering before they slowly head out. Some stay all year round, others travel a little further south.
@Sarah: Thank you for the huge compliment Sarah.
@Viewfinder: Thank you Glenn. I don't know if it gets any better than this or not. Ig it does, I hope I am there to witness it.
@mascha: Thank you MAscha. This particular image was a coincidence for me. I was going to photograph the eagle flying, it just kept flying to this one on the ground. I had a few tries to get this shot. I suspect I was about 100 yards away from them. And I always use my 400mm lens when photographiong wildlife. You take care. Have a good day.
@Demo: You are very welcome my friend. I am glad you enjoyed viewing it.
@Loner: Thank you Sonja.
@Sandrine: Thank you.
@Lesley: Many thanks Lesley.
@Vitor Martins: Thank you
@B. Thomas: It reall makes me wonder why there are pockets of these great birds. They are common throughout North America. Yet for some reason (food) they seem to be more abundant on some areas than others. And sometimes they are approachable and other times they are flying at 3 miles high.
@Evelyne Dubos: Many Many thanks Evelyne.
@mohkum: Thank you very much.
@jamesy: Thank you Debbie.
@Marion: Thank you Marion. I have seen several of Jim's pieces. I have even read a book of his. He was an inspiration to me. I thank you for the compliment. And I am thankful for the people who appreciate my efforts.
